Blimey! It's Magic!

Monday, Cheryl and I discovered a way to fried chicken without using flour or corn starch or any kind of fried chicken flour. It was quite a lot of work but the ingredients are pretty easy to find around the house and not too many ingredients either. Sorry guys, but we are not going to dish out our recipe for you guys to try. I will give you guys a hint of our secret ingredient though: biscuits...
Mid-terms is coming up next week and Cheryl and I had "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (The 6th book of the 7 book series) for dinner today (Yesterday since now it's midnight). How did we managed to get tickets for the premier? Well, by making early reservations of course. By early, of course we mean that by waiting until it is midnight/ Tuesday morning (2 days before the premier) and then called to reserve. After all, the early bird catches the worm (well, most of the time anyway).

The movie? Well, I can't tell you guys because it would b
e spoiler. All I can say that it is much more exciting than the previous Potter movie. (If you guys forgot, it's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) My favorite scene? When Dumbledore conjured up a ring of fire. Cheryl's fave? Those comedic scenes which include Quidditch and the party. My fave character in this movie? This is tough but I have to say Luna. Coz she's really cute in a crazy kinda way. My least fave? It is between Voldemort and Bellatrix(She killed Sirius Black in the last movie!)
Cheryl: Hermione coz she's so pretty. The least fave is Tom Riddle(aka young Voldemort) coz he has huge forehead and his haircut sucks. LoL

Well, here's the moment you all have been waiting for: I would defitnitely recommend everyone to go watch this movie. Apart from the deep story plot, I will say that even those people who never watch a Potter movie before in their life will also enjoy it (The characters might be a lil bit confusing though). There's comedy, action and romance (Yes, you read correct) suitable for every individual with different movie preference. Cheryl added that those people who had never watch a Potter movie before is a bit too extreme. It's Harry Potter for crying out loud!

XOXO
Megan

A Weekend of Friends and Lizards

As you guys probably knew from Cheryl's post, a lizard came into our room and we spend all night searching and trying to get rid of it. Cheryl was determined not to sleep until the lizard was found. (She's terrified of lizards) And last night we thought we had cornered the lizard but we saw it again today. Cheryl of course went nuts and kept jumping around holding a tiny broom while I combed the room for it.

Yesterday was pretty... eventful. It all started with a phone call from Soong to Cheryl. Remember the "cute guy on the bus"? It turns out that one of Soong's friend knew him and she called us just to let us know that she can set up time for us to meet him.

Wait a min... What?????

Sometimes we may have an eye for the fine things in life but we don't necessary want them.

Later that night began the hunt of the lizard. I end up slept at 4am while Cheryl, 6am. We hastily woke up and rushed to Mid Valley to catch the movie- Ice Age 3 in 3D. I have never watched a movie in 3D before given that KK never has the frivolity for such things. Nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves. After the movie we had lunch and window shopping before proceeding to visit our friend, Vijila.

Vijila comes from Zambia, a small country in Africa. She was once Soong's roomie but she moved out from the hostel. Now she's staying at a condo. We haven't seen her for quite some time and we miss her quite a bit. We hung out at her condo, eating snacks and catch up on our life. Time really flies when we are having fun. I was actually feeling quite guilty about not catching up with my old friends. After all, one is silver, the other is gold right?

Oh, btw, I managed to chased the lizard out of our room. Hope it has the sense to not come back in. Cheryl is determine to exterminate it.

XOXO
Megan.

FREAKY midnight !!

Me again.

I am really frustrated. A stupid, pervert, ugly, disgusting, old, annoying, irritating, terrible, horrible and vegetable lizard had intruded our lovely room at 2.00am!!!

As usual, I am freaking afraid of it. I blamed myself for not 'slapping' and kill it immediately. I should slam the bed and crush the stupid, pervert, ugly, disgusting, old, annoying, irritating, terrible, horrible and vegetable lizard into pieces!! D-I-E D-I-E D-I-E D-I-E *wicked smile*

Below is the route taken by the stupid, pervert,...lizard :

--> beside Megan's aka my roomie bed --> under her trunk --> behind the curtain --> (old trick again) behind the air-con!!

At 3.00am, the lizard buster,Delia passed by our room and help us in looking for the lizard and of course, with the intention to kill it as well. However, unfortunately, that stupid,pervert,...lizard who is a coward, hide behind the air-con. Finally, Delia come out with a BRILLIANT idea - we use a big, black tape to cover the area around the air-con so that the lizard will stay there forever and ever.

p/s : During the process of hunting for for the stupid, pervert,..lizard, my cupboard was broken *sob*.

pp/s : Thanks Delia for helping me out. Hope that your toe will recover soon (as she hurt her toe when she tried to hunt for the stupid, pervert,..lizard!) *sOooooo sorry*

Ending with XX mood...

XOXO
Cheryl
